Quality Assurance Department

The Quality Assurance Department (QA) ensures quality, safety and consistency in all BGG products and services by closely monitoring and measuring performance in the following areas:

  1. Quality Improvement. Based on the premise that all work activities can be planned, performed, measured and improved, QA monitors and implements improvement as a continuous, integral part of our operations.
  2. Personnel GMP Training and Qualification. All employees who come into contact with our products must attend GMP training within the first month of employment and on a regular basis thereafter. Tests are given to monitor the effectiveness of training.
  3. Internal Audits. QA inspectors monitor all phases of production to assess performance and compliance with GMP and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  4. External Audits. QA supervises inspections and audits performed by domestic and international regulatory bodies and independent auditing firms.
  5. Supplier Qualification. QA maintains an audit program to verify suppliers’ ability to provide products that consistently meet our strict quality requirements.
  6. Document and Record Control. QA updates and maintains all documents, records and SOPs.
  7. Inspection and Acceptance Testing. QA rejects components and finished products that do not meet specifications.
  8. Non-Conformance. QA identifies, documents, controls, investigates and disposes of all non-conforming materials, components and finished products.
