The Quality Assurance Department (QA) ensures quality, safety and consistency in all BGG products and services by closely monitoring and measuring performance in the following areas:
- Quality Improvement. Based on the premise that all work activities can be planned, performed, measured and improved, QA monitors and implements improvement as a continuous, integral part of our operations.
- Personnel GMP Training and Qualification. All employees who come into contact with our products must attend GMP training within the first month of employment and on a regular basis thereafter. Tests are given to monitor the effectiveness of training.
- Internal Audits. QA inspectors monitor all phases of production to assess performance and compliance with GMP and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- External Audits. QA supervises inspections and audits performed by domestic and international regulatory bodies and independent auditing firms.
- Supplier Qualification. QA maintains an audit program to verify suppliers’ ability to provide products that consistently meet our strict quality requirements.
- Document and Record Control. QA updates and maintains all documents, records and SOPs.
- Inspection and Acceptance Testing. QA rejects components and finished products that do not meet specifications.
- Non-Conformance. QA identifies, documents, controls, investigates and disposes of all non-conforming materials, components and finished products.
